Branch of Spades. Dictionary page art ORIGINAL.

This original abstract botanical piece was created using collage techniques along with acrylic paint and ink. The collage papers were made on a gelli plate with acrylic paint in deep purples and violets. Prussian blue, white and pinks set off the spade-shaped single-petalled forms and golden-peachy leaves. The branch is enhanced with acylic ink. A page from Webster's New International Dictionary, Third Edition © 1961 forms the background. 

This piece measures 8" x 12" and is mounted on 11" x 15" watercolor paper. When matted, the piece fits a 16" x 20" frame. Frame is NOT included.
